Sharing the Farm - Experience the TEDx talk for yourself

What does it mean to share a farm? It’s a question I’ve been asking, and turning over in my head, for years now. It’s not the kind of question that has a once-sentence - or even one-paragraph - answer. I don’t have a “why farm?” elevator pitch. The farm is an experience, meant to be taken in sensorially and processed in tandem by mind and heart.

I don’t often get the chance to talk directly to the whole community. But a little while ago, I got to try answering that question about sharing the farm, and a TEDx talk was born. Even if you couldn’t make it to TEDxRiverton, I want to invite you to visit us in spirit, and to listen as I work towards an understanding of what the farm is to me, to you - and to us.

I live fairly close and drive by your farm regularly yet don’t ever stop and experience it. I don’t know why. But today I stumbled across your website and was so unbelievably inspired. And I will start coming to experience your farm and buy your yummy fresh produce and enjoy everything you’ve worked so hard to share with the rest of us! What a blessing you are to the community.
