There’s planning, and then there’s vision. Running the farm is a balance of both - having an idea of where we’re going, how we’re inviting people to engage, and then putting that into a plan that the team can put into action. You can’t have one without the other.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The vision isn’t an end point, either. It’s not as simple as picking a destination and then picking the right road to get there. Instead, it’s what feels authentically next. What grows from the organic combination of philosophy and focus, from the sets of talents we bring to this work.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The core of our vision is, as always, community. That means those of you who listen and respond here, and those of you who visit. It means inclusion, and commitment to being as open and inviting as we can sustain.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Everything we have planned for this year, from upcoming workshops to farm camp, is dedicated to this vision. We can’t wait until you can see and experience it too.⠀

Carrots - 1 bunch
Turnip Greens - 1 bunch
Creamy Lentils and Turnip Greens
Sorrel - 1 bunch
Chickpea and Sorrel Salad
Bell Pepper - 1
Ground Turkey Stuffed Peppers
Mushrooms - 1 lb
Chile Garlic Mushrooms
Lettuce Mix - 1 bag
A blend of our favorite greens grown on the farm in our hoop houses.
Mixed Fruit - 3 lbs
A delicious assortment of pears, apples, and oranges. Enjoy as-is, or throw them into your favorite smoothie or salad.
Cutting Celery - 1 bunch
Celery Leaf Pesto
Start by adding 1-2 cups of celery leaves into your food processor. Add in 2-3 cloves of garlic, a handful of parmesan cheese, and a half cup of pine nuts. Pulse until all ingredients are roughly chopped. Blend on high speed while drizzling in a 1/2 cup of olive oil. Add salt and pepper to taste. Spread generously on your favorite flatbread or spoon over fresh pasta.
This recipe is wonderful and doesn't require exact measurements. It always turns out delicious. Grab some fresh pine nuts from the market when you come to pick up your share this week!
