Just in time for all your spring planting, we’re bringing a Plant Sale to the farm. On May 11 from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm, we’re showcasing a huge variety of garden and landscaping essentials, from garden veggies and herbs to flowers and direct-sow seeds. We’ve focused on varieties that are easiest to grow in our region of Utah, and that will yield plenty of good eating or gorgeous blooms to brighten up your summer.

As you browse, enjoy fresh food truck fare, stop to say hello to the animals, and we will have our farm camp leaders here to teach your kids about the farm and read them a story so you can shop while your kids learn!

Don't forget to check out our two included workshops. At 11 am, we’re hosting an Introduction to Local Landscapes with Jordan Valley Conservancy, where you’ll learn all about planting local varieties for hardy, water-wise landscaping that will flourish in Utah’s dry climate. Then, at 1 pm, Laura Horn of the Wild Bee Project will give a presentation on how to plant with native pollinators in mind. Adding pollinator-friendly plants to your landscaping sustains populations of these important local insects, keeping their populations more stable and benefiting native vegetation.
