Earth Smarts Summer Workshops FAQ
What are the times of Earth Smarts Summer Workshops?
The Earth Smarts Summer Workshops run for five weeks starting mid-June. Each 90-minute workshop has a separate registration at $25 per workshop. Children can attend one workshop or register for the entire day or week. Each workshop will be different, and parents and children can build an itinerary that works for them.
Workshops run in 90-minute blocks, Monday-Thursday, at the following times:
- 9:00-10:30 AM
- 10:30 AM-12:00 PM
- 12:00-12:30 PM (Lunch Break)
- 12:30-2:00 PM
- 2:00-3:30 PM
What is the cost?
Each 90-minute workshop is $25 per attendee. The only other add-on cost would be the $10 box lunch.
Can I sign my child up for just one day?
Yes! You can sign your child up for just one workshop! However you want to build your child's itinerary is up to you!
What ages can sign up for camp?
Earth Smarts Summer Workshops are for children ages 7-12 years old at the time they attend. Parents are welcome to attend the Hawk Watch workshops and the Scales and Tails workshops and will require their own registration.
Do you offer sibling discounts?
We are unable to offer a sibling discount. We keep our prices as reasonable as possible while still being able to cover staffing, supplies, and as many hands-on opportunities for the participants during their time here as possible. Because each extra person adds to these needs, we keep the pricing the same per person.
Something came up. Can I switch the dates?
Tickets are limited, therefore, we are not offering refunds once a workshop has been purchased. However, if you are no longer able to attend the camp, you can email us with the name of the person to whom we should transfer the ticket. We recognize that scheduling conflicts arise, while date changes are not guaranteed, we may be able to make adjustments in the registrations by switching workshops. We require 5 business days notice prior to any registration adjustments. Any requests outside of the allotted time will not be accommodated.
What do we need to bring?
Each participant should wear closed-toed shoes, clothes they can get dirty in, sunglasses or a hat, sunscreen, and a water bottle. If your child will be staying for lunch, you can either purchase a box lunch or you can pack them a lunch.
