The Arbor House
The Arbor House is a nature-centered venue with a warm, refined atmosphere that feels both welcoming and stately. Dried florals drift overhead in the rafters, chandeliers glow across antique tables and wood walls, and intimate vignettes of vintage sofas create inviting pockets for conversation. The porch opens into a small secret garden with swings, bistro lights, tables beneath a canopy of hops, and a rose tunnel that adds quiet romance. Inside, a seasonal tree serves as a natural focal point, bringing a touch of wild magic to the room in every season.
Because the Arbor House changes subtly throughout the year, every event feels distinct. Spring feels airy and new, summer expands into the gardens, autumn fills the space with depth and warmth, and winter creates a cozy retreat. Nothing about it feels repeated or scripted. It is a place that shapes itself gently to the moment.
Unlike more manicured or overly polished venues, the Arbor House carries a sense of ease that guests immediately relax into. The Garden House at The Kinlands is a greenhouse-style haven where the warmth of Provence meets the quiet mystery of a secret garden. Soft light filters through glass walls. Lavender borders the pathways. Wildflower pockets appear in unexpected places. The Grand Event Package offers a seamless, story-driven flow between our two signature spaces, designed for celebrations that move effortlessly from ceremony to reception, or for larger gatherings that benefit from both scale and intimacy.
Imagine beginning your ceremony in the Garden House. Guests are seated on rows of benches beneath a softly diffused backdrop, surrounded by a ceiling of suspended florals that creates the feeling of being held within a living conservatory. As anticipation builds, your entrance through the sliding doors becomes a quiet, cinematic moment, framed by light, texture, and gentle movement overhead.
Following the ceremony, guests may transition outdoors into Rosewood, our botanical outdoor space, for drinks and conversation among layered greenery and open air. Alternatively, the evening can unfold through the interior hallway, guiding guests directly into the Arbor House for the reception.
The Arbor House is arranged for dining, dancing, and celebration, with tables for seated guests, a designated dance area, a bride and groom head table, and space for a designated bar. Throughout the night, guests enjoy indoor-outdoor access to Rosewood, as well as the adjoining side patio, allowing the event to expand naturally and breathe as the evening progresses.
This package is ideal for those who want a clear ceremonial moment, a dynamic reception experience, and a cohesive environment that evolves with the rhythm of the night.

Our Venues
The Garden House
Welcome to The Garden House, a serene and sophisticated venue designed for gatherings that feel both meaningful and effortlessly beautiful. Perfect for hosting intimate events, the surrounding outdoor grounds can accommodate up to 100 guests in an open-house style, or 60 guests for a sit-down event. Your rental includes 7 tables with benches, 2 food tables, a couch with 13 rugs, and seasonal comfort features such as fans and AC units for a softer experience in warmer months, and heaters for cooler months. The addition of the Courtyard can be included for a true indoor/outdoor experience, though it is not required to host the full 100 guests. Available add-ons also include The Moon House for an overnight stay or private preparation space.

The Arbor House
Our newest venue, The Arbor House, is a 2,000-square-foot space designed to host large-scale weddings and events of up to 200 guests. Climate-controlled for year-round comfort, it features ample seating, grand chandeliers, and The Kinlands’ signature design charm, taking the work out of styling your day. Dried florals hang gracefully from the rafters, creating a warm, organic atmosphere, while the spacious open floor plan allows for a variety of layouts, from banquet-style dining to expansive dance floors. Large windows invite natural light during the day, while soft, layered lighting transforms the space for evening gatherings. With its balance of rustic elements and refined details, The Arbor House is ideal for hosting larger celebrations.

For an unforgettable celebration, the entirety of our spaces can be combined into one seamless experience. The Arbor House & Garden House can be joined together to create a flowing event that moves from refined indoor settings to open-air gatherings under the stars. This option is ideal for large guest counts, multi-day celebrations, ceremony and reception, or events that call for distinct yet connected environments. Inquire during your tour for details on availability, capacity, and custom package options.
Stay With Us
The Moon House is our onsite bed and breakfast, a charming three-room bungalow with a kitchen, bathroom, one bedroom, a sitting area, and a parlor. Designed with comfort and intention, it offers a peaceful retreat for out-of-town guests, a romantic first night for newlyweds, or simply a relaxing getaway. Its inviting layout and thoughtful details make it a seamless extension of any event at The Kinlands, providing both privacy and convenience just steps from the celebration.

FAQs
- There are 7 large tables with benches that seat 8 each. And two wooden tables with sawhorses that compliment a food layout, or as cake and gift tables.
- The space is heated during the cooler months but is a greenhouse and does not reach above 70 degrees. During the warmer months, misters, fans and AC coolers are provided. (Summer months may still be high in temperature.)
- Outside food is allowed, or food trucks.
You can add on our one room cottage, titled Prim, which is often used as a dressing room. We will be offering our bed and breakfast cottage around the spring, so please ask if this is something you are interested in.
No, you do not need to book a tour prior to reserving. Please read both options below.
Option 1: Reserve Now, Tour Later
Step 1: Place a $75 deposit to hold your preferred date before your tour. Step 2: Immediately book a tour to view the Garden House. After your tour, if you decide the Garden House isn’t the right fit, just let us know within 48 hours of your tour date and we’ll refund your deposit in full. Your tour booking must be booked within the same day as your rental deposit, to be eligible for your date to be held. Once we see that you have scheduled a tour alongside your deposit payment, your date will temporarily be held until your tour has been completed.
If it is the right fit (and it often is), your deposit is applied toward your full booking as you move into final confirmation.
Option 2: Tour First, Then Book
You’re welcome to schedule a tour before making any commitments. However, please note: we cannot hold your date without a deposit, and due to high demand, your date may be claimed by someone else in the meantime.
