Join us for an evening of inspiration and creativity as we explore the art of crafting soul-warming roasted winter root vegetable soup alongside expertly crafted cocktails and mocktails that highlight the season’s finest flavors.

What’s on the Menu

The Soup:
Discover how to intuitively transform humble root cellar vegetables into a luxurious, velvety soup without always following a recipe. We’ll explore seasonal favorites, alongside incorporating aromatic herbs like rosemary and warming spices such as cardamom to elevate the flavors. 

You’ll learn the secrets to roasting vegetables for enhanced sweetness, blending techniques for a hearty, nourishing soup, and tips for garnishing to create a visually stunning and delicious dish.

    The Drinks:
    Pair your meal with cocktails and mocktails designed to bring brightness and warmth to winter, featuring:

    • Seasonal citrus for refreshing vibrancy.
    • Homemade syrups, shrubs, and bitters to add depth and character.
    • Warming spices like clove and cardamom for a cozy finish.

    What to Expect

    This is a dynamic and engaging event where you’ll not only watch and learn but also participate:

    • Assemble and finish your soup to enjoy a comforting meal together.
    • Create and mix simple syrups to craft your own mocktails during the event.
    • Take home any leftover soup and syrups to continue enjoying the flavors of the evening.

    We’ll dive into the art of balancing flavors in elixirs and discuss intuitive soup-making techniques, empowering you to bring creativity and confidence into your kitchen.

    Terms: 

    • Workshops are non-refundable
    • We will be in the Garden House, which is heated but not completely temperature-controlled, so please dress accordingly in the season of Winter. 

    The Kinlands Cancellation Policy: 

    Tickets are limited, therefore, we are not offering refunds once a workshop has been purchased. However, if you are no longer able to attend, you can email us with the name of the person to whom we should transfer the ticket. We recognize that conflicts arise, while date changes are not guaranteed, we may be able to make adjustments in the registrations by switching the workshop. We require 5 business days notice prior to any registration adjustments. Any requests outside of the allotted time will not be accommodated.
