The Kinlands Seasonal Garden House Dinner

6:30-8:30 pm

As the sun sets over The Kinlands, the Garden House transforms into an intimate dining space, where candlelight flickers across linen-draped farm tables adorned with foraged greenery, natural textures, and the soft glow of gathered guests. This once-a-month fine dining experience is a celebration of the land, the season, and the art of a beautifully crafted meal.

Each five-course dinner follows a thoughtfully curated prix fixe menu, showcasing heartier offerings that honor the rhythms of nature and the richness of a true land-to-table experience.

The first course opens the evening with a refined dish—perhaps a velvety roasted beet and chèvre salad, a delicate seafood bisque, or a warm wild mushroom tart.

The first handcrafted drink is poured, featuring botanical infusions, seasonal fruits, and house-made tinctures that complement the flavors of the meal.

A seasonal interlude follows, offering a thoughtful progression between courses—maybe a truffle-infused risotto, a perfectly charred leek and burrata plate, or a delicate handmade pasta kissed with farm-fresh cream and herbs.

The main course is the pinnacle of the evening, featuring rack of lamb, beef filet, or another expertly prepared centerpiece, served alongside vibrant, locally sourced vegetables and indulgent accompaniments that elevate the dish.

The second handcrafted drink is introduced, deepening the experience with bold, warming flavors or a refreshing counterpoint to the richness of the meal.

The evening concludes with a decadent dessert, a final indulgence that lingers on the palate—perhaps a dark chocolate torte, a honey-lavender crème brûlée, or a seasonal fruit galette served with freshly whipped cream.

Set in a communal dining style, guests 12 and older are invited to sit side by side at long tables, fostering conversation and connection over shared plates and the quiet hum of an unhurried evening. Each month, the tablescape evolves, reflecting the beauty of the season—perhaps adorned with freshly clipped olive branches, fragrant sprigs of rosemary, or delicate spring blossoms nestled among flickering taper candles.

This exclusive dining event is hosted each month by Chef Casey, alongside Jen and Luke of The Kinlands, who thoughtfully curate the experience, ensuring each detail— from the meal to the setting— reflects the beauty and abundance of the land.

Hosted once a month at sunset, this sought-after gathering sells out quickly. We invite you to join us for an evening of seasonal abundance, fine food, and shared connection, where every course tells the story of the land.

While the menu is prix fixe, gluten-free alternatives are available when possible.

Note:

Alongside our fine dining dinner, we also host a seasonal land-to-table brunch, led by Jen and Luke of The Kinlandswith Chef Casey from Theobroma. This five-course feast embraces the freshest flavors of the season, served in the intimate Garden House, where guests gather around a shared table for a beautifully curated and unforgettable meal.

FAQ:

Guest Information
Parking
Complimentary parking is available on-site. You may park either in the spaces west of the Shoppe or in the lot south of The Kinlands. Once parked, enter the Garden House through the Shoppe.

Arrival Time
Dinner will begin promptly at 6:30 PM, and we encourage arriving a little early to ease into the evening. Many guests enjoy arriving 20-30 minutes prior to explore the Shoppe, selecting a small gift, a loaf of sourdough, a new book, or something thoughtful to take home. Let the unhurried pace set the tone for what’s to come.

Attire/Climate
You are joining us for a seasonal dinner party in a greenhouse setting where refinement meets ease. We suggest attire that feels timeless, graceful but not overly formal, resting just below fine dining. Think layers, natural fabrics, and a touch of polish.

While the Garden House is heated in the cooler months, and outfitted with an A/C in the hotter months, this venue is still a Green House which means being thoughtful about your attire is critical to having an enjoyable experience. Please consider layers at all times, to add if you are needing added warmth or remove if you are too warm.

Gratuity
Your $85 ticket is all-inclusive. Tips are not required or expected, as your experience has been fully arranged with care.

Seating
Our Land-to-Table Dinner features communal seating, inviting guests to gather around long harvest tables rather than individual ones. This arrangement is intentional, an opportunity to share stories, laughter, and dishes passed from hand to hand.
If you are attending with a party of four or more, we encourage arriving early to ensure you can be seated together.

The Meal
Dinner is served family-style, with generous platters of seasonal dishes meant to be shared. Each table receives thoughtfully portioned servings of every course, encouraging both abundance and connection. Passing, sharing, and savoring together are all part of the experience, an echo of the land’s generosity.

Dietary Considerations
Our menu is prix fixe and thoughtfully curated around the freshest ingredients of the season. While we do not offer individual substitutions, our chefs design each menu as a culinary tapestry, ensuring a range of flavors and offerings to delight every guest.

Seasonal Menus
Each month brings a new menu, inspired by what the land is yielding and the tone of the season. This allows every dinner to stand on its own as a unique celebration of time and place.
