Welcome to the Garden House at The Kinlands—a serene and sophisticated venue designed to host gatherings that feel both meaningful and effortlessly beautiful. Our space is offered as an à la carte experience, allowing you to select only what you need. The expansive outdoor garden, in addition to the Garden House, can accommodate up to 150 guests, ideal for ceremonies, dinners, or private celebrations beneath the open sky and can be included in your rental. 

Available a la carte additions include tables and chairs, a private back staging area for vendors and preparation, and Prim—our intimate one-room cottage that serves beautifully as a bridal suite or quiet moment of retreat. For those wishing to extend their stay, our onsite bed and breakfast offers a peaceful overnight experience, blending comfort with intentional design. The Garden House is a graceful and flexible setting, inviting you to craft a gathering that is entirely your own. 

Prior to booking a tour, please check that your intended date is available by heading to the calendar button titled "book your rental", and check that the date is not blocked out by filtering the calendar to the date you are wishing to book. 

Pricing for rentals: 

• 1-25 people: $75 an hour (three hour minimum)
• 26-50 people: $100 an hour (three hour minimum)
• 51-75 people: $125 an hour (three hour minimum)

• 76-100 people: $150 an hour (three hour minimum)

Garden House Booking Process

The Garden House is one of our most beloved and sought-after spaces—and it books faster than most traditional venues. Dates often fill months in advance, especially during peak seasons. If this space speaks to you, we encourage you to act quickly to avoid missing out.

To help you secure your date while still giving you time to experience the space in person, we offer a two-step booking process:

Option 1: Reserve Now, Tour Later

Step 1: Place a $75 deposit to hold your preferred date before your tour. Step 2: Immediately book a tour to view the Garden House. After your tour, if you decide the Garden House isn’t the right fit, just let us know within 48 hours of your tour date and we’ll refund your deposit in full. Your tour booking must be booked within the same day as your rental deposit, to be eligible for your date to be held. Once we see that you have scheduled a tour alongside your deposit payment, your date will temporarily be held until your tour has been completed. 
If it is the right fit (and it often is), your deposit is applied toward your full booking as you move into final confirmation.

Option 2: Tour First, Then Book
You’re welcome to schedule a tour before making any commitments. However, please note: we cannot hold your date without a deposit, and due to high demand, your date may be claimed by someone else in the meantime.

Terms and Conditions:

• All rentals require a tour prior to your reserved date. You may place a $75 deposit to hold your date and schedule your tour separately—but a tour must be completed for your reservation to be fully confirmed.  You can book your 15-minute tour here.
• By purchasing, you confirm you have read and agree to the Private Rental Terms of Service.
• Our Rental Coordinator will contact you to collect a credit card on file, which is required to finalize your reservation. This card will be used only in the event of additional cleaning fees, damages, or contract violations—any charges will be accompanied by an itemized invoice. You will also be contacted at this time for payment of the remaining balance on your rental total.

The Kinlands Cancellation Policy:
We recognize that cancellations may occur, all cancellations must be made in writing 30 days prior to your rental date for a full refund. Any requests outside of the allotted time will not be accommodated.
